One year after going 2-9-1 against the spread, TCU was dominant against the spread in 2022. The Horned Frogs went 9-2-1 in the regular season and – after failing to cover against Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship while covering against Michigan in the College Football Playoff semifinal – enter the national championship with a 10-3-1 ATS record.

Georgia-TCU Spread
As of Monday morning, Georgia is a 12.5-point favorite over TCU in the College Football Playoff National Championship. The Bulldogs opened at as 13.5-point favorite and also spent time at -13 throughout the week.
It’s the first time TCU is a double-digit underdog this season and just the second time they’ve been an underdog of at least 13 points in the last three seasons. They failed to cover as an 18-point road dog against Iowa State in November 2021.
Georgia, meanwhile, is a double-digit favorite for the 14th time this season and, if the number returns to 13, could be a favorite of at least 13 points for the 13th time this season. Their lone game as a single-digit favorite was against Ohio State in the semifinals.
