Coaching timelines are of great interest to most football betting fans. In the ACC, the preeminent center of power remains in Clemson, South Carolina.

When Did Dabo Swinney Start Coaching at Clemson?

Dabo Swinney became interim head coach of the Clemson football program in the middle of the 2008 season. He was handed the full-time job for the 2009 season.

Swinney first came to Clemson in 2003, when he began coaching the wide receivers. A full 20 years later, Clemson has had the most College Football Playoff appearances in all of FBS… except for Alabama, of course.

Who Coached Clemson Before Dabo Swinney?

Tommy Bowden was the head coach of Clemson in 2008, with Dabo Swinney serving as his associate head coach. Bowden held the job since 1999.
