Grizzlies vs. Thunder Prediction: Best Bets & Odds for Game 2

  • Get expert betting predictions and analysis for Grizzlies vs. Thunder.
  • The Thunder are 14.5-point favorites for Game 2.

Fresh off a lopsided affair in Sundayโ€™s Game 1, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies will meet at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday at the Paycom Center on TNT.

Will Game 2 be more competitive than the opener? The Thunder crushed the Grizzlies for a 131-80 win, but it was a tough travel spot for the visitors. Memphis was coming off a play-in victory on Friday, while Oklahoma City had over a week off.

Here’s a look at the latest NBA odds for the Grizzlies vs. Thunder and my prediction ahead of Tuesdayโ€™s Game 2:

Grizzlies vs. Thunder Odds: Game 2

Grizzlies vs. Thunder Prediction: Game 2 Best Bet

Based on the updated NBA betting lines, I like the over on Jalen Williams’ assist prop (4.5) in Game 2 against the Grizzlies. Iโ€™m also interested in a same-game parlay of Williams’ assist prop and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 30-plus points after he was held to 15 on Sunday.

Williams cleared 4.5 assists in the first half of Sunday’s 51-point win. He finished with six assists in 26 minutes. He also had 10 potential assists, per the NBA’s tracking data.

That gives me complete confidence in Williams’ ability to record five-plus assists if Tuesday’s Game 2 is remotely competitive. Williams averaged 5.1 assists per game during the regular season.

Oklahoma City won’t make a deep playoff run without Williams stepping up as the team’s No. 2 option, but I think he’s ready for the moment. At the very least, an up-tempo matchup against the Grizzlies should give him plenty of confidence.

I’d play this over at -130 or better.

Game 2 prediction: Jalen Williams over 4.5 assists (-120)
