The last time the Atlanta Hawks won a playoff series was during the 2020-21 season when they sent home the New York Knicks in the first round with a 4-1 series victory.

It was also the same season when they reached the Eastern Conference Finals but lost to the eventual champion Milwaukee Bucks in six games. Since then, they have become a perennial playoff team and boosted their place in NBA odds.

When Did the Hawks Move From St. Louis To Atlanta?

After selling the franchise to other investors, the Hawks were moved from St. Louis to Atlanta in 1968. Since then, they havenโ€™t won an NBA title and never reached the NBA Finals, but were able to compete in four conference finals.
