  • The Utah Jazz have the No. 10 pick in the NBA Draft.
  • Devin Carter is the betting favorite at +500 to go No. 10 overall.

The Utah Jazz hope to continue to build for the future with the No. 10 pick in this yearโ€™s NBA Draft.

Utah went 31-51 last year, missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season. But the Jazz have started to put a core together, including last yearโ€™s first-round selection of point guard Keyonte George at No. 16 overall.

The latest NBA Draft odds at the online sportsbook indicate the Jazz will add another perimeter player with the No. 10 pick:

NBA Draft Odds โ€“ No. 10 Overall Pick

Devin Carter+500
Nikola Topiฤ‡+550
Ron Holland+600
Rob Dillingham+600
Dalton Knecht+800
Cody Williams+800
Tidjane Salaรผn+1000
Zach Edey+1200
Matas Buzelis+1700
Isaiah Collier+2200

Prediction for No. 10 Pick: Tidjane Salaun (+1000)

  • Pick made at +1100 odds on June 21

Devin Carter is the new betting favorite for this pick at +500 after opening with a +600 value. He’s one of the best perimeter defenders in this class, but I’m guessing he will be gone by this pick.

Nikola Topic, a point guard from Serbia, was previously the betting favorite. His odds have gone from +500 to +550.

If not for an ACL injury, the 6-foot-6 point guard would likely have been safely picked inside the top 10. He might still go that high, as a team takes a chance on his upside.

I do like an upside pick for the Jazz, who are still so early in their rebuild process. But I went with a different selection, as they just took their point guard of the future last year.

Tidjane Salaรผn, who is from France, is the youngest player in this draft and won’t turn 19 until August.

Salaรผn has plenty of size and length at 6-foot-9. He might be raw, but evaluators rave about how hard he plays.

A team like the Jazz can be patient with his development, particularly given their stockpile of picks.ย

I already love this pick for Utah.

NBA Betting Splits: No. 10 Pick

Zach Edey is the biggest liability in the No. 10 pick market, particularly with the Jazz reportedly open to shopping center Walker Kessler this offseason.

Edey’s betting splits to go No. 10 overall:

  • Ticket count: 46.7%
  • Handle count: 61.5%
