The 2025 NCAA Tournament bracket has been revealed, and many are looking for teams who could pull off a few upsets.
Below, Jeff Goodman of the Field of 68 gives his three double-digit seeds most likely to advance to the second weekend.
3 Double-Digit Seeds Most Likely to Advance to Sweet 16
Akron
Guards win in March, and the Zips have one of the best mid-major guards in the country in Nate Johnson, and his backcourt mate Tavari Johnson, is no joke, either. Plus, they are playing Arizona – who has erratic guard Caleb Love as its go-to guy.
Drake
The Bulldogs feature four guys who came with their head coach from the D-2 ranks, so these guys have been playing together for years. Missouri will come with pressure, but Drake’s point guard Bennett Stirtz is unflappable and one of the best in the country.
UC San Diego
The Tritons will face Michigan, and this is a team that has a star in Big West Player of the Year Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones, who hails from New Zealand. These guys are older, and are well-coached by Eric Olen.
