It was the sixth him New Orleans hosted the national semifinals and national championship. Only Kansas City (nine) and New York City (eight) have hosted more Final Fours than New Orleans. The city has hosted NCAA Tournament games eight other times, including the 2011 Sweet 16 and Elite Eight.
The 2023 Final Four is scheduled for April 1-3 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
