Adoree’ Jackson Contract: Salary, Cap Hit, Potential Extension

Drafted No. 18 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, current New York Giants cornerback Adoree’ Jackson is entering the final year of a three-year contract.

Adoree’ Jackson Salary

The Giants’ best cornerback is entering the third and final year of a $39 million contract signed in 2021. However, the Giants and Jackson restructured that contract in April 2022 to create cap space.

Jackson is due $11 million in base salary and $4.5 million in signing bonus. The Giants would be on the hook for $10.4 million in dead money if they cut Jackson in 2023.

Adoree’ Jackson Cap Hit

The six-year veteran will carry a cap hit of 19,076,563 for the 2023 season as he enters his age 28 season.

Adoree’ Jackson Potential Extension

Jackson became the Giants’ top cornerback in 2022 despite missing several weeks with a knee injury. He played in 10 games and made 51 total tackles (40 solo) while breaking up 17 passes. In two playoff games with the Giants, he made 14 tackles.

Jackson is a prime candidate for an extension since he carries a $19 million cap hit for New York. However, it could be a short-term deal as Jackson has not been healthy for an entire season since 2018 with the Titans.
