Cairo Santos Salary
The veteran inked a three-year $9,000,000 contract with the Bears in March 2021. It included a $2,500,000 signing bonus, $4,575,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $3,000,000.Â
In 2023, Santos will earn a base salary of $3,500,000 with a $500,000 signing bonus.

The kicker’s contract will carry a cap hit of $4,500,000 and a dead cap value of $1,500,000.

Santos is the most accurate Bears kicker of all time, kicking at an 89.7% field goal rate for the team. The 31-year-old also owns the team record for consecutive field goals made in the regular season, with 40.
Santos must improve on last year’s performance if he wants to keep his spot in Chicago. The team is expected to take steps forward, and they can’t be hampered by a kicker with a history of missing extra points.
