Colt McCoy Contract: Salary, Cap Hit, Potential Extension

Colt McCoy Salary

In 2023, McCoy will earn a base salary of $3,750,000, including a signing bonus of $1,250,000.

He inked a two-year, $7,500,000 contract with the Cardinals on March 14, 2022. It included a $2,500,000 signing bonus, with $6,000,000 guaranteed and an annual average salary of $3,750,000.

Colt McCoy Cap Hit

McCoy’s contract will carry a cap hit of $5,000,000 in 2023 while having a dead cap value of $3,500,000.

Colt McCoy Potential Extension

A free agent at the end of the season, McCoy appears to be nearing retirement after a long career. With Kyler Murray’s health in question entering 2023, it seems possible he could see playing time this season and sign a one-year deal with Arizona or elsewhere.
