Armstrong had career-high 8.5 sacks in 2022 and will be looking to build off that in 2023, a contract year. Armstrong is a free agent in 2024 and played 47.9% of snaps in 2022, the most of his career.
If Armstrong can continue getting to the quarterback in a part-time role, teams will be able to see his value, and he should be paid accordingly. He’ll likely be due for a two or three-year deal on his next contract. Two years makes the most sense at around $7.5 million annually.
