Duane Brown Contract: Salary, Cap Hit & Potential Extension

Drafted No. 26 overall in 2008 by the Houston Texans, left tackle Duane Brown is a long-standing veteran that’s been successful at protecting his quarterbacks.

Duane Brown Salary

The Texans drafted Brown before he moved on to the Seattle Seahawks for five years. In 2021, he signed a deal that landed him with the New York Jets. Brown signed a two-year, $20,000,000 contract with the Jets, which includes a $7,880,000 signing bonus, with $9,000,000 guaranteed and an average annual salary of $10,000,000.

The 37-year-old carries an $11,281,882 cap hit in 2023.

Duane Brown Potential Extension

Brown will be a free agent in 2024, but it’s unknown if he’ll continue playing. The soon-to-be 38-year-old left tackle has suited up for 215 games, and the end of his career is on the horizon. Brown is currently paid as a top-15 left tackle.
