The New York Giants have been to the Super Bowl five times: XXI, XXV, XXXV, XLII, and XLVI
Have the Giants Ever Won the Super Bowl?
The Giants have won four Super Bowls (XXI, XXV, XLII, and XLVI), most recently against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI in 2011.
Super Bowl XXI vs. Broncos
The Giants’ first Super Bowl appearance came in the 1986 season when they knocked off the Denver Broncos 39-20 in Pasadena to finish the season 17-2
Super Bowl XXV vs. Bills
Four seasons later, the Giants were part of one of the most memorable Super Bowl moments as Scott Norwood of the Bills missed a game-winning field goal wide right. The Giants won 20-19 and finished 16-3.
This was one of four Super Bowl losses for the Bills, the third-most Super Bowl losses among all NFL teams.
Super Bowl XXXV vs. Ravens
A decade later, the Giants would return to the Super Bowl but ran into one of the best defensive teams ever, the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens blew out the Giants 34-7.
Super Bowl XLII vs. Patriots
The Giants ended the Patriots’ road to perfection in a game that will be remembered for David Tyree’s helmet catch late in the game. The Giants knocked off Tom Brady and the Patriots 17-14 in one of the greatest Super Bowl upsets in history.
Super Bowl XLVI vs. Patriots
In a Super Bowl XLII rematch, the Giants again topped the Patriots, this time 21-17. It was the second Super Bowl that the Giants won with Eli Manning.
