Hunter Henry Contract: Salary, Cap Hit & Potential Extension

Drafted 35th overall in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft, Hunter Henry has played for two NFL teams.

His highest touchdown total came in 2021 when he totaled nine, but he regressed heavily in 2022. The 28-year-old recorded his worst season since his rookie year, with only 509 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Hunter Henry Salary

Hunter Henry inked a three-year contract with the New England Patriots on March 16, 2021. It was worth $37,500,000 and includes a $15,000,000 signing bonus, with $25,000,000 guaranteed. He has an average annual salary of $12,500,000.

In 2023, Henry will have a base salary of $9,500,000, a roster bonus of $1,000,000, and a signing bonus of $5,000,000.

Hunter Henry Cap Hit

The 28-year-old will carry a cap hit of $15,500,000 in 2023. His contract has a dead cap value of $5,000,000 this year.

Hunter Henry Potential Extension

Set to be a free agent at the end of the 2023 season, Henry has a big year ahead of him. He must prove he can still produce at the NFL level, or it will be tough for him to see an extension offered from New England.
