Sam Darnold will make a career-best $60,008,820 from his NFL contract in 2025.
About 75% of that number is a huge $45 million option bonus that was guaranteed at the time the contract was signed.
Most of the remainder is structured as base salary, though he does also draw an $8,820 workout bonus.
The monster 2025 cash places Herbert at the top of the list of the highest-paid players in the NFL this year.

Justin Herbert’s contract included $133,738,376 at the time of signing, all of which was money due by the 2025 season.
