After being named MVP of the revamped USFL in 2022, Turpin signed a three-year, $2,560,000 contract with the Cowboys on July 27, 2022.
The deal includes an average annual salary of $853,333.

Boasting 4.31 speed, Turpin enjoyed an impressive rookie season, ranking seventh in the NFL with 808 return yards and fifth in punt return average (10.4 yards) en route to being named to the NFC’s Pro Bowl roster.
The 26-year-old still has two years remaining on his current deal before being eligible for a restricted free-agent tender in 2025.
