Kendrick Bourne is entering his third season with the New England Patriots.

Kendrick Bourne Salary

Bourne’s base salary for 2023 is $4,750,000.

In 2021, the Patriots signed Bourne to a three-year, $15,000,000 contract. The deal included a $4,250,000 signing bonus, with $5,250,000 guaranteed at signing and an average annual salary of $5,000,000.

Kendrick Bourne Cap Hit

Bourne carries a cap hit of $6,872,539 this season. Further, he has a dead cap hit of $1,416,667.

Kendrick Bourne Potential Extension

In 2021, he thrived, setting career highs in receptions, receiving yards, rushing yards, and yards from scrimmage while matching his previous high in touchdowns. However, he fell off that pace last year, ranking fifth on the team in targets.

It seems unlikely Bourne will sign another multi-year deal with similar value to his current deal. However, he could sign a modest one- or two-year extension to remain in New England, especially if Juju Smith-Schuster isn’t productive enough.
