Drafted No. 15 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, Malik Hooker had the potential to be one of the better safeties in the league, but injuries have held him back.

After the Colts declined his fifth-year option, the Ohio State alum signed with the Dallas Cowboys, hoping to get his career back on track.

Malik Hooker Salary

Malik Hooker signed a two-year, $7,000,000 deal with the Cowboys in 2022, including a $1,700,000 signing bonus and $2,000,000 guaranteed. The ballhawk is set to have a base salary of $3,000,000 and half of his $1,700,000 signing bonus in 2023.

Malik Hooker Cap Hit

The 26-year-old will carry a cap hit of $4,320,592 in 2023.

Malik Hooker Possible Extension

The former first-round pick has found a home in Dallas and shown some hope of returning to his elite play on defense. If Hooker can add to his 2022 season, which included 44 tackles, three interceptions, and three pass deflections, the safety could be in for a pay raise come extension time.
