  • After Week 12, the Giants are 7-4.
  • They are in third place in the NFC East, behind the Eagles and Cowboys.
  • The Giants are currently the No. 6 seed in the NFC.

It’s been a tough stretch for the Giants of late, making the playoffs just once in the last 10 years and going through a number of different head coaches.

But, following a strong start to the 2022 season, their NFL playoff odds are the best they’ve been in years.

New head coach Brian Daboll has given the franchise new life, and players like Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley are having terrific seasons.

Will it be enough to get back to the playoffs?

Giants Playoff Seed

Heading into Week 13, the Giants are the No. 6 seed in the NFC. Even though they have lost two straight games, they are still in third place in the NFC East. With their loss to the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, Dallas will own any tiebreakers.

Giants Wild Card

Even with two straight losses, the Giants are holding onto a wild card spot. At 7-4, they have a half-game lead on Washington.

NFC Playoff Standings

SeedTeamRecord
1Eagles10-1
2Vikings9-2
349ers7-4
4Buccaneers5-6
5Cowboys8-3
6Giants7-4
7Commanders7-5

The top seven teams make the playoffs, with the four division winners earning the top four seeds.

Currently, all four NFC East teams would make the postseason, which would be a remarkable feat.

If the playoffs began today, the teams just missing out on the playoffs would be the Seahawks (6-5) and the Falcons (5-7).
