There aren’t a lot of elite or high-quality tendencies with Tannehill, but he’s proven to be a reliable starter who’s found team success with the Titans. In a system that relies heavily on their running game, it’ll be interesting to see if Tannehill tests free agency in 2024 and ultimately lands in a more pass-heavy offense.
It’s hard to see Tannehill signing a similar deal to the one he did as a 30-year-old with the Titans. Quarterbacks are being paid in NFL circles, but Tannehill won’t be in a position to break the bank as a 35-year-old free agent.
