Kansas City Chiefs punter Tommy Townsend went undrafted but has carved out a nice career after being signed by the franchise in 2020.

Tommy Townsend Salary

The former undrafted free agent signed a one-year contract worth $2,627,000 for the 2023 season.

His base salary was $895,000 in 2022.

Tommy Townsend Cap Hit

Townsend will carry a $2,627,000 cap hit in 2023.

Tommy Townsend Potential Extension

If Townsend has another All-Pro season, he could be in line for a multi-year extension comparable those recently signed by Jake Bailey, Bryan Anger, Johnny Hekker, and Michael Dickson.

His next deal could be three or four years for $11-15 million in total value.
