For his career, Gonzalez is 91-of-113 on field goals (80.5%) and 127-of-134 on extra points (94.8%).
The 49ers kicker in 2022 was Robbie Gould, who entered free agency with his future up in the air.
Gonzalez carries no ‘dead money’ if he is cut or traded before the season and will have to prove himself in camp both in production and health if he wants to make the team.
