  • The Winston-Salem Open is the final menโ€™s event before next weekโ€™s U.S. Open.
  • The total menโ€™s prize purse is nearly $800,000.

North Carolina may not be a hotbed for international tennis betting, but the Winston-Salem Open is the last stop on the menโ€™s tour North American swing ahead of the US Open.

While many of the top menโ€™s players are likely taking the week to rest in a key sandwich spot after high-profile tournaments in Montreal and Cincinnati, some mid-level players are continuing to grind out tour events.

That includes reigning champ Sebastian Baez, French hardcourt specialist Adrian Mannarino, and American Alex Michelsen.ย

As an ATP 250 event, the prize money and points available at this tournament are relatively small. The total prize purse for this event is $779,780.

However, for those looking to stay moving through the run-up to Flushing Meadows, Winston-Salem provides a great draw, if a bit understated.ย
