When Does the Transfer Portal Open?
The next open date for the college football transfer portal is Monday, Dec. 9. It will stay open through Dec. 28, where it will then close again ahead of the major bowl games and second-round playoff dates.
Different sports have different portal dates. For fall sports other than football, check the NCAA master sheet for transfer windows.
