Sean Casey, Kenyon Martin, and T.J. Houshmandzadeh are headlining a unique event at the BetMGM Sportsbook at Great American Ball Park.
Hosted by BetMGM and the Cincinnati Reds from 6-8 p.m. on March 25, five days before the Reds host the Pittsburgh Pirates on Opening Day, “Legends of Cincy” is a public event (capacity dependent) with autographs, giveaways, and an athlete panel hosted by Trysta Krick.
All guests who enter the BetMGM Sportsbook – accessed from exterior-facing entrance to the Machine Room on the northeast corner of the ballpark – will have an opportunity to win the following prizes:
- Three pairs of Diamond Club tickets for Opening Day
- One BetMGM brand baseball bat signed by Casey, Houshmandzadeh, and Martin
- Two Reds’ memorabilia items
- Ten $15 gift cards for use in the Wings & Rings Machine Room
Casey made his Reds’ debut in 1998, the first of eight seasons with the club. A three-time National League All-Star selection at first base, Casey led the team to 96 wins in 1999 – its most since 1973 – and was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.
In four seasons with the Cincinnati Bearcats (1996-2000), Martin led the program to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances and its first AP No. 1 ranking in 25 seasons. A consensus first-team All-American who swept national player of the year awards as a senior in 1999-2000, Martin had his No. 4 jersey retired in April 2000 and remains the program’s all-time leader in blocked shots.
A seventh-round pick in the 2001 NFL Draft, Houshmandzadeh played nine seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals. He had six straight seasons with at least 70 receptions and 900 yards, and still ranks in the top 10 for most receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns in franchise history.
