Yankees vs. Dodgers World Series Prediction, Series Best Bet

Based on the latest baseball playoff odds, my best Yankees vs. Dodgers World Series prediction is on New Yorkโ€™s series price (+110) ahead of Fridayโ€™s Game 1 due to my projections showing value on the underdog.

At their current MLB betting odds, the Yankees have an implied probability of 47.62% to win the World Series. But I view this matchup closer to a coin-flip, with a slight edge to New York because of its pitching advantage over a seven-game series.

Gerrit Cole is slated to start Game 1, which can help set the tone for the Yankees and give him another outing (or two) later in the series. Heโ€™s done his part in his last two starts, giving up three runs in 11 1/3 innings of work.

The Dodgersโ€™ rotation depth is more of a concern, putting further pressure on their bullpen to continue their brilliance. That might not be as reliable of a plan against a lineup led by Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Giancarlo Stanton.

Itโ€™s worth remembering that Los Angeles faced elimination earlier this postseason after getting down 2-1 to the San Diego Padres in the NLDS. The Yankees, meanwhile, are 7-2 so far this postseason.

New York has been the better team in October, and the latest MLB betting lines donโ€™t reflect that.

Iโ€™m betting on the Yankees to win their 28th ring at a plus-money price and taking a flier on Jazz Chisholm Jr. as a World Series MVP odds long shot before this yearโ€™s Fall Classic gets underway this weekend.

Best bet: Yankees to Win the World Series (+110)
