  • The Memphis Grizzlies finished 27-55 last season.
  • Memphis has a win total of 47.5 for 2024-25.

The Memphis Grizzlies are counting on a bounce-back campaign after going 27-55 in 2023-24.

NBA futures odds are available at the online sportsbook, including Memphis Grizzlies odds for NBA champion, division winner, and player awards.

Grizzlies Futures Odds

Win Total: 47.5
Southwest Division: +250
Western Conference: +1400
NBA Championship: +3500

The NBA odds market expects the Grizzlies to return to form after an injury-riddled campaign, but they are leaving some margin of error compared to last year.

Memphisโ€™ win total is two games lower than last yearโ€™s mark, when it went under its preseason win total for the first time since 2018-19. The Grizzlies are +250 to win the division after being +140 last year.

In addition, Zach Edey is the NBA Rookie of the Year odds favorite after being drafted No. 9 overall by Memphis.

Grizzlies Offseason Moves

After a quiet offseason, the Grizzlies are counting on their youth development and better health to lead to better results this year.

The Grizzlies had 33 players see the floor last year, primarily due to injuries. They didnโ€™t lose anyone from their core rotation, but added some depth through the draft.

Edey was Memphisโ€™ top pick after winning two National Player of the Year awards for Purdue at the collegiate level. He averaged 25.2 points and 12.2 rebounds per game last season with the Boilermakers.

Given the Grizzliesโ€™ draft history, itโ€™s worth keeping an eye on their second-round selections of Jaylen Wells and Cam Spencer.

Grizzlies 2024 Betting Prediction

Prediction: Grizzlies to Win Southwest Division (+310)

Note: This line has moved to +250 since making this pick.

The Dallas Mavericks enter the year as the betting favorites to win the Southwest Division after doing so last year on their way to the NBA Finals.

But Memphis was the top team in this division just one year ago. The Grizzlies won the division (and claimed the No. 2 seed in the West) in 2022-23, marking their second straight first-place finish in the Southwest.

Bettors are getting a bargain with this +310 price tag on the Grizzlies to win the division. They had been trading between +110 and +150 in the previous two seasons in that market.

Ja Morant played only nine games last year, while Marcus Smart appeared in 20 contests during his first season with the Grizzlies.

With better availability from their top players, the Grizzlies will remind everyone of their actual ability this season.
