Isaiah Collier was once viewed as a top prospect, but an underwhelming season at USC allowed Utah to select him with the No. 29 pick.

The Jazz lost Kris Dunn, who provided a solid defensive presence in the backcourt. He’s now a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Jazz have gotten off to solid starts in each of the last two seasons, eventually trading away players to earn the No. 9 pick in 2023 and the No. 10 pick in 2024.

They shouldn’t mess around this season.

With next year’s class expected to be loaded, the Jazz aim to secure a high pick. They know their best chance of competing in the West is landing a franchise player like Cooper Flagg.

As a result, I recommend keeping an eye on draft markets or taking the under on Utah’s win total.
