The bracket has been revealed, and theย March Madness odds have been set, which means it’s officially time for the NCAA Tournament.
While some have been following college basketball the entire season, many casuals will be jumping in this week.
With that in mind, Jeff Goodman of the Field of 68 revealed his five most exciting players to watch in the NCAA Tournament.
Cooper Flagg, Duke
Stats: 18.9 points per game, 7.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists
If you haven’t seen him by now, you need to. He’s a special player who does absolutely everything and will be the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft come June.
Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M
Stats: 15.7 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists
He can shoot you in or out of a game, but he’s fun because you never know what he’ll do next. Electric guard who is the key to the Aggies hopes for a deep run.
VJ Edegecrome, Baylor
Stats: 15 points per game, 5.6 rebounds, 3.3 assistsย ย
The big, strong, athletic wing from the Bahamas is a top-five pick. He’s explosive, defends at a high level and has some crazy highlight dunks.
Tre Johnson, Texas
Stats: 19.8 points per game, 3 rebounds, 2.8 assists
Just a professional scorer and should also go high in the lottery. Not a crazy athlete, but he can still fill it up.
Jase Richardson, Michigan State
Stats: 12 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists
The son of former Spartan great Jason Richardson has been the key to the Spartans season, emerging as the go-to guy that Tom Izzo has been lacking.
