UConn head coach Dan Hurley has become one of the top coaches in college basketball. 

The Huskies are the first back-to-back national champions in nearly 20 years and have quickly become an NBA Draft factory. They have dominated college basketball odds over the last two years and are the favorite in the next season’s college basketball national championship odds market. 

Hurley is paid accordingly.

How Much Does Dan Hurley Make at UConn?

Dan Hurley’s average annual salary on his current contract with UConn is about $6.4 million.

Dan Hurley signed an updated six-year contract worth $32.1 million prior to the start of the 2023 season. 

Hurley’s buyout if he leaves to coach another college basketball team is steep at $7.5 million. However, it drops to $1.875 million if he leaves to coach an NBA team.
