Since 1974, when the NFL implemented overtime as part of the gameplay, no team has completed a season with two tie games.

Before the overtime rules, 1973 saw four different teams finish their respective seasons with two tie games: the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, and Kansas City Chiefs.

The most recent tie game took place on Dec. 4, 2022, when the Washington Commanders and New York Giants ended in a 20-20 tie after Graham Gano missed a 58-yard field goal attempt.
