One of the most promising safeties in the league has joined the defending Super Bowl champions. Mike Edwards signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs worth $3,000,000.
This past season, Edwards had a career year, starting in 12 games for the Buccaneers. In his previous three seasons, he only started 11 games combined.

Mike Edwards Potential Extension
Kansas City lost Juan Thornhill to the Cleveland Browns but replaced him with someone who can equal his production. Edwards should jump straight into the Chiefs’ secondary and has the potential to get even better.
Set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2024, the 26-year-old must prove his worth to secure a multi-year contract. He is in a perfect position to do so, as he is on one of the best teams in the league.
In 58 career games, Edwards has recorded 184 tackles, with one forced fumble and two sacks. He has seven interceptions in the NFL.
