  • The Ravens are -7.5-point favorites against the Rams.
  • Baltimore is playing following a Week 13 bye, winning two straight prior.
  • The Rams have won three straight games since their bye week.

Before the action kicks off from Baltimore, I’m set to provide a pair of Ravens vs. Rams predictions.

Both teams enter this game in outstanding form as they seek prime positioning for the playoffs.

Baltimore had their bye last week but won two straight and six of their previous seven games.

Meanwhile, the Rams have won three straight to climb back to .500. However, they’re 1-2 straight up against the AFC North this season.

Here’s a look at the NFL betting lines for Sunday’s game, as well as my bets for the contest.

Ravens vs. Rams Betting Odds

  • Baltimore Ravens Moneyline: -350
  • Los Angeles Rams Moneyline: +275
  • Game Spread: Baltimore Ravens -7.5
  • Game Total: 40 Points

Ravens vs. Rams Betting Predictions

Baltimore Ravens 1H Spread (-4) vs. Los Angeles Rams

When you give John Harbaugh’s Ravens extra preparation time, beware of them in the first half.

For his career, Harbaugh is 16-8-1 ATS in the first half when he has between eight and 14 days of rest.

Additionally, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson excels in the opening two quarters.

For his career, he’s 40-19-2 ATS against the first half spread when he’s a favorite, including 7-4 ATS when he’s playing on between eight and 14 days of rest.

Conversely, the Rams have struggled recently in the opening two quarters.

They’re 1-2 straight up in the first half, spanning their last three road games, with their lone win coming against the Cardinals.

In their trip to Dallas, Los Angeles found themselves down 33-9 at the end of the first half.

Against a Ravens side comparable in quality, expect Los Angeles to struggle out of the gates.

Gus Edwards Over 36.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

This number feels oddly low, so it could very well be a trap.

That said, Edwards offers high upside against a Rams team that struggles to defend the run.

Los Angeles sits 21st in rush defense DVOA, along with 24th in adjusted line yards per attempt, per ftnfantasy.com.

Now they have to face a Ravens team first in rush defense DVOA and fifth in adjusted line yards per attempt.

Plus, Edwards has cleared this number in all but three games this season.

Further, if you trust the odds and expect Baltimore to win, it’s worth noting he’s cleared this number in seven of nine wins.

Take the over on Edwards as a result.
