Drafted No. 110 overall in 2016 by the Los Angeles Rams, tight end Tyler Higbee has emerged as a productive threat in the team’s passing attack.

Tyler Higbee Salary

Higbee signed a four-year, $29,000,000 contract with the Los Angeles Rams in March 2020. It includes $15,500,000 guaranteed and an average annual salary of $7,250,000.

Tyler Higbee Cap Hit

The 30-year-old carries a $9,125,000 cap hit in 2023. His dead cap hit is approximately $5.2 million.

Tyler Higbee Potential Extension

Higbee has proven to be a safety blanket in the Rams’ offense and has the blocking ability to continue being impactful, though with the Rams looking to shed money across the roster, it’s unclear where and if Higbee factors into their long-term plans.

He is just outside of the top 15 paid highest tight ends in the NFL. He may look for a potential contract in 2024 with an average annual value around $8-10 million per season.
