Jalen Hurts played college football at two different schools, both of which carry elite programs: Alabama and Oklahoma.
Hurts began his collegiate career at Alabama in 2016, where he led the Crimson Tide to the national championship after being named SEC Offensive Player of the Year.
In 2018, after securing his undergraduate degree in three years, he made the decision to move on from Alabama to avoid an ongoing quarterback controversy between he and former teammate Tua Tagovailoa.
Hurts transferred to Oklahoma for the 2019 season, where he was named Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year.ย
He finished his collegiate career with four different College Football Playoff berths across two different teams.
