Good Drives Gained in golf betting is a metric to measure how well a player is driving the ball, but taken a step further.

Good Drives are when a player either hits the fairway or misses the fairway but is still able to hit the green in regulation. This helps determine how well a player is playing before reaching the green.

If a player is missing the fairway by two feet on average, their Good Drives Gained will be a lot better than a player missing the fairway by 20 yards on average.

This metric often comes into play at major championships.
