The online sportsbook sets UFC odds.

The most popular types of odds include moneyline, total round betting, and method of victory betting.

UFC Moneyline Betting

Moneyline betting on UFC odds is a straight bet wherein you will pick the winner of a specific fight, regardless of how many rounds it would last and the method of victory.

To explain this, let us use our hypothetical bout above about a rematch between Conor McGregor as the +200 underdog and Khabib Nurmagomedov as the -200 favorite.

If McGregor wins this rematch as a -200 underdog and you place a bet of $100 on him, you will cash out $300 (including the stake).

Meanwhile, if Nurmagomedov repeats on McGregor and you place the same amount of $100, the cashout is a little lower at $150 in total since he is the favorite to win.

UFC Total Round Betting

How many rounds will a fighter finish his opponent during the match?

The McGregor-Nurmagomedov rematch example will most likely be a five-round affair. However, UFC fights only have three rounds of fights, especially if it is not a championship bout or the main event bout.

For example, if a second meeting between these two rivals didn’t go the distance, and either McGregor or Nurmagomedov finished the fight in round two, which also happens to be your bet with +440 odds, then you would cash out a whopping $540 (including stake) on your $100.

UFC Method of Victory Betting

There are three types of finishes in the UFC – via decision, via KO/TKO, or submission, and this can also provide you with additional value and payout on your bets when placing them.

Still using the hypothetical example above, since Khabib Nurmagomedov is the favorite to win in their rematch and is known for his superior grappling, the odds for another submission victory for him over Conor McGregor is -350. Placing a $100 bet on this wager will win you $128.57 in total, including stake.

On the other hand, if you placed a bet on Conor McGregor, who is the underdog, to win by knockout over Nurmagomedov with a +450 odds, then you might potentially cash out $550 (including stake) if the ‘’Notorious’’ delivers that method of victory.

How to Calculate a UFC Betting Payout

If you placed a winning bet on any of the UFC odds, what’s the payout?

That depends on the bet amount (or the stake) and odds.

At BetMGM, the payout is automatically calculated on your betting slip. After adding a bet to the slip, you’ll see the potential payout if the ticket cashes.
