Pantoja’s next challenger for the belt is UFC newcomer Kai Asakura, a multiple-time Japanese MMA champion.
They will be headlining the UFC 310 PPV card on Dec. 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas after the original main event fight between Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov fell apart due to Muhammad’s illness.
