  • Israel Adesanya was the former undisputed UFC Middleweight Champion.
  • Adesanya holds an MMA record of 24 wins and four losses.
  • Adesanya lost to Dricus Du Plessis in the main event of UFC 305 in August via fourth-round submission.

Israel Adesanya suffered his second consecutive loss in the UFC after Dricus Du Plessis submitted him in the fourth round of their UFC middleweight title match on Aug. 18 in front of the sold-out RAC Arena crowd in Perth, Australia. Adesanya failed to shrug off the rear-naked choke submission of Du Plessis and was forced to tap out. It was the first time he sustained back-to-back losses in his MMA career.

Despite this latest setback, โ€œThe Last Stylebenderโ€ remains one of UFCโ€™s biggest stars and a perpetual favorite in online sports betting via the UFC odds. But when will the Nigerian-New Zealander return to action?
