  • Indiana selected Caitlin Clark with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
  • Clark is a -750 favorite to win Rookie of the Year.

After drafting Caitlin Clark with the No. 1 overall pick, the Indiana Fever should be one of the more exciting teams in the WNBA during the 2024 season.

But will that excitement lead to better results after a 13-27 campaign in 2023?

The latest odds at the online sportsbook expect a solid jump for the Fever this season.

Fever Futures Odds

Win total: 19.5
To make playoffs: -300
To miss playoffs: +240
Championship odds: +1800

The Fever are -300 favorites to make the playoffs, which they havenโ€™t done since a first-round exit in 2017.

Indiana is fifth in championship odds at +1800. The franchise won its lone title in 2012.

Clark is also a contender in multiple awards markets. She is a -750 favorite in the latest WNBA Rookie of the Year odds and third in WNBA MVP odds with a +1000 value.

Fever 2024 Betting Prediction

Prediction: Caitlin Clark to win Rookie of the Year (-750)

Iโ€™m not recommending anyone place a -750 bet, but the Rookie of the Year award is Clarkโ€™s to lose this season.

Thatโ€™s what history tells us, anyway.

Of the last 16 winners for this award, 11 were selected No. 1 overall in their respective drafts.

Clark was the slam-dunk pick at No. 1 this year after becoming the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer in both menโ€™s and womenโ€™s basketball. She was a two-time National Player of the Year for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Fever ranked sixth in the league last year in offensive rating and points per game.

Clark now gets the keys to the offense and will record plenty of counting stats in the process.
