WNBA 3-Point Leader Odds 2025: Who Will Challenge Caitlin Clark?

Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark (22) attempts a 3-point basket as Dallas Wings' Teaira McCowan (15) defends in the first half of a WNBA basketball game Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. Fever head coach Christie Sides, center rear, looks on.

  • Caitlin Clark is the betting favorite to lead the league in 3-pointers per game in 2025.
  • Clark averaged 3.1 triples per game as a rookie last year.

The gravity of Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was apparent during her rookie season, as she led the WNBA in 3-point shooting.

Clark paced the league with an average of 3.1 3-pointers per contest last year. Her 122 triples in 2024 rank No. 2 all time for most 3-pointers made in a single season.

As a result, itโ€™s no surprise that the latest WNBA odds give Clark the edge to be the leagueโ€™s leader in 3-pointers made per game in 2025.

Clark enters as a -135 betting favorite to lead the WNBA in 3-pointers per game during the 2025 season, giving her an implied probability of 57.45%.

Not only did Clark lead the league in 3-pointers per game (3.1) last year, but her average of 8.9 3-point attempts per contest was also No. 1 in the WNBA. Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale finished second in both categories at 2.9 3-pointers on 8.5 attempts per contest.

Under new head coach Stephanie White, I expect Clark to make another leap on the offensive end. She will become more efficient, and the Fever will continue to lean into her on-court gravity, which is comparable to Stephen Curry in the NBA.

Curry has led the NBA in 3-pointers per game 10 different times in his 16-year career. I wouldnโ€™t blame anyone for taking the relatively cheap price on Clark to defend her 3-point title in the WNBA.

At the very least, Clark could face some competition in this market.

New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu, who is second in odds, hit a league-record 128 triples during the 2023 season. Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum could improve on last yearโ€™s average of 2.9 3-pointers per game as the No. 1 option with her new team.

Ogunbowale could benefit from WNBA Rookie of the Year odds favorite Paige Bueckers setting the table in Dallas. Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard should cut out some midrange jumpers in a modern offense under my WNBA Coach of the Year odds prediction, Karl Smesko.

Of all the challengers to Clarkโ€™s throne, I like Plumโ€™s price the best. She shot 36.8% from distance last year, a touch below her career mark of 39% and her 42% clip in 2022.

If Plum is more efficient this year as the top scoring threat in Los Angeles, I could see her challenging Clark in this market.

Prediction: Kelsey Plum (+600)
