  • The 2025 Berlin Tennis Open is a grass draw packed with strong WTA players.
  • The total prize purse at the German Open is more than $1 million.

While the WTA tour does hit a few small stops in England, Spain, and Italy in the days after the French Open, the first significant tournament begins on June 16 in Berlin. That is, of course, the Berlin Tennis Open.ย

This 98th edition of the flagship German tournament is a pre-Wimbledon event in Juneโ€™s abbreviated grass season.ย

As usual, this yearโ€™s draw is loaded with top players finding their grass stroke ahead of Wimbledon.ย
