Since then, he has moved up in weight and captured the WBC World Super Featherweight and WBO World Super Featherweight titles. His latest victory was against Edwin De Los Santos in November, making him a three-division world champion after he secured the vacant WBC lightweight belt with a unanimous decision win.

Like Stevenson, Harutyunyan was also a former Olympic medalist in the 2016 Rio Games, but he competed in the heavier weight class. He fought Avelino Vazquez in his first professional fight in November 2017 and has since won 11 straight fights.

During this stretch, Harutyunyan also captured multiple minor titles, such as the BDB International Super Lightweight title, the IBO Continental Super Lightweight title, and the WBC International Lightweight title. His previous fight was a unanimous decision loss from Frank Martin in July 2023.
