  • G5 win totals have now been posted at BetMGM.
  • The G5 college football over/under wins market can be a good market to hunt for value.
  • Liberty, Boise State, Memphis, James Madison, and Toledo rank among the highest win totals.

The first wave of college football win totals were posted at the BetMGM online sportsbook in May. Early futures bettors jumped on the opening numbers, finding plenty of value before the market was shaped by volume action.

If you’re looking for value, then I’ve got good news. G5 win totals are now available at BetMGM as well.

The college football futures market is always expanding, and the oft-overlooked middle class of FBS football can be an excellent place to find soft numbers and hidden gems.

Liberty Win Total 2024

  • Current Liberty Win Total: 10.5 (Over +110 / Under -130)

With head coach Jamey Chadwell and quarterback Kaidon Salter back in Lynchburg, Liberty should once again be a threat to dominate Conference USA and reach the 10-win mark.

After being bludgeoned by Oregon in the 2024 Fiesta Bowl, the Flames’ playoff credibility will be heavily questioned in 2024. But as far as regular-season wins go, 10 wins is certainly obtainable.

Boise State Win Total 2024

  • Current Boise State Win Total: 9.5 (Over -115 / Under -105)

Boise State hasn’t won 10 games in a regular season since Bryan Harsin’s final full-length (non-Covid) season in 2019.

With games on the schedule against Oregon, Washington State, and Oregon State on the docket for 2024, the 2024 season will be a challenging time for the Broncos to rediscover the 10-win mark.

Memphis Win Total 2024

  • Current Memphis Win Total: 9.5 (Over +115 / Under -140)

James Madison Win Total 2024

  • Current James Madison Win Total: 8.5 (Over -110 / Under -110)

JMU just pulled off what is arguably the most successful FCS-to-FBS transition in the modern history of college football. Unfortunately, it cost them head coach Curt Cignetti and many of their top playmakers.

New head coach Bob Chesney looks extremely capable, and the market sees the Dukes as top-level Sun Belt contenders yet again this season.

That’s probably true. But on the specific question of wins and losses, can Chesney get the Dukes back to nine wins with an immense amount of roster churn? That’s a tougher question for bettors to answer this summer.

Toledo Win Total 2024

  • Current Toledo Win Total: 8.5 (Over -110 / Under -110)

Jason Candle and the Rockets have struggled to win as many MAC championships as their talent may have allowed for, but Toledo has consistently won games in the regular season.

Candle spurned other jobs in the offseason and remained with the program for what will be his eighth season at the helm in 2024.

With nonconference games against Duquesne, UMass, Mississippi State, and Western Kentucky, Toledo is a strong over candidate – even with quarterback Dequan Finn now at Baylor.

Fresno State Win Total 2024

  • Current Fresno State Win Total: 8.5 (Over +100 / Under -120)

Miami (OH) Win Total 2024

  • Current Miami (OH) Win Total: 8.5 (Over +110 / Under -130)

Texas State Win Total 2024

  • Current Texas State Win Total: 8.5 (Over +120 / Under -140)

Texas State brought in a strong class of recruits and transfers, including former JMU quarterback Jordan McCloud.

Will that mean a new high-water mark for football in San Marcos? Texas State hasn’t won nine games in a season since becoming an FBS team in 2012.

Appalachian State Win Total 2024

  • Current Appalachian State Win Total: 8.5 (Over +125 / Under -150)

Tulane Win Total 2024

  • Current Tulane Win Total: 8.5 (Over +125 / Under -150)

UTSA Win Total 2024

  • Current UTSA Win Total: 8.5 (Over +125 / Under -150)

Louisiana Win Total 2024

  • Current Louisiana Win Total: 7.5 (Over -165 / Under +130)

Jacksonville State Win Total 2024

  • Current Jacksonville State Win Total: 7.5 (Over -150 / Under +125)

Western Kentucky Win Total 2024

  • Current Western Kentucky Win Total: 7.5 (Over -130 / Under +110)
