Jerry Jeudy’s Contract
Selected 15th overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jeudy is entering the final year of a four-year, $15,192,974 rookie contract.
The deal is fully guaranteed and includes an average annual salary of $3,798,244, an $8,609,436 signing bonus, and a fifth-year option.
Jerry Jeudy’s Cap Hit
Jeudy will carry a cap hit of $4,834,128 in 2023.
Jerry Jeudy’s Potential Extension
Having completed his third NFL season, Jeudy is eligible for a contract extension.
Despite Denver’s league-worst offense, the 23-year-old set career highs across the board this past season, tallying 67 catches for 972 yards and six touchdowns. While Jeudy hasn’t performed like a true No. 1, it would be surprising if the Broncos don’t pick up his fifth-year option, which is expected to be around $12 million.
With Sean Payton now in town, Jeudy’s arrow is pointing up. How the former Alabama standout performs in 2023 will thus go a long way toward determining his long-term future in Denver.
Other notable players from the 2020 draft class awaiting a potential extension include Joe Burrow, Chase Young, and Justin Herbert.
