Seattle bought in several new bats to reinvigorate an offense that ranked 12th in runs per game last year.
Garver hit .270 with 19 home runs and 50 RBI for the Rangers last season, while Haniger is back with the Mariners after one season with the San Francisco Giants.Â
Polanco was traded to Seattle for the Minnesota Twins to make room for some young talent. In 10 years with the Twins, Polanco generated a .334 on-base percentage and 17.3 WAR.
