The Philadelphia Phillies are coming off consecutive NLCS appearances,  and they’re currently the top team in the NL in the 2024 MLB playoff picture.

Phillies Playoff Chances

The Phillies playoff odds are off the board, as they have more than a 99% implied chance of making the postseason.

Their playoff odds are the best in the NL East:

  • Phillies: Off the board
  • Braves: -2500
  • Mets: +170
  • Nationals: +850
  • Marlins: +3000

Phillies Playoff Seed

If the postseason began today, the Phillies would be the top seed in a six-team NL bracket. They’re eight games ahead of the Atlanta Braves for the division lead in the NL East.

As the top seed, the Phillies would have a bye in the Wild Card round.

Here’s the current NL bracket:

Last Time the Phillies Made the Playoffs

The Phillies are coming off their second straight NLCS appearance in 2023, a stretch that includes a World Series appearance in 2022.

Prior to these last two playoff runs, Philadelphia hadn’t notched a postseason berth since 2011.
