  • The Philadelphia 76ers went 47-35 in 2023-24.
  • Philadelphia has a win total of 51.5 this year.

Following an underwhelming campaign, the Philadelphia 76ers landed the biggest star in free agency and expect a bounce-back season in 2024-25.

NBA futures odds are available at the online sportsbook, including Philadelphia 76ers odds for NBA champion, division winner, and player awards.

76ers Futures Odds

Win Total: 50.5
Atlantic Division: +500
Eastern Conference: +500
NBA Championship: +1000

The 76ers are now among the NBA odds favorites after signing Paul George.

Philadelphiaโ€™s championship price was cut from +1600 to +1000 since the NBA Finals. It marks the teamโ€™s shortest price to win it all since it was +775 entering 2019-20.

The 76ersโ€™ win total has also increased by two games since last year.

76ers Offseason Moves

The 76ers landed the biggest name in free agency and have spent the summer building a contender around George, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey.

In the current NBA era, free agency is more about improving your roster on the margins. Stars are typically only available if they demand a trade.

Thatโ€™s why it was a no-brainer for the 76ers to pursue George once he moved on from the Los Angeles Clippers. George signed a four-year, $211,584,940 contract with the 76ers to form a Big Three that perfectly fits together on the basketball court.

Philadelphia also brought in Andre Drummond to be Emiidโ€™s backup center and signed Caleb Martin to a valuable four-year, $35 million contract.

The 76ers had to say goodbye to some reliable contributors, but they are certainly better than last year.

76ers 2024 Betting Prediction

Prediction:ย Tyrese Maxey Under 25.1 Points per Game (-115)

Whenever a big three is formed, there is always a talented player forced into a smaller role than expected.

My guess is that Maxey will defer to Embiid and George this year.

Maxey averaged 25.9 points per game last season, winning the Most Improved Player award in the process. But that workload was a result of James Harden leaving town and Embiid dealing with injuries.

Maxey averaged 20.3 points per game in 2022-23, marking his top scoring average before last season.

Hashtag Basketball projects Maxey to average below 24 points per game this year, providing value on this under at its current number.
