The Los Angeles Lakers last won a playoff series in 2023, when they defeated the Golden State Warriors 4-2 in the second round.

Last Time the Lakers Got Swept in the Playoffs

The Lakers were swept by Denver in the 2023 Western Conference finals. The Nuggets went on to win the championship.

It’s the first time the Lakers have been swept in a playoff series since the Spurs did it in 2013. Before that, Dallas swept LA in 2011 and Portland did it in 1977.

Perhaps not coincidentally, all four teams that swept the Lakers in a best-of-seven playoff series went on to win the West.
