  • The Washington Wizards have the No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft.
  • Alex Sarr is -115 to be the second pick in this year’s draft.

The NBA Draft is just around the corner, and it remains a mystery what the teams at the top of the draft will do this year.

The Washington Wizards have the No. 2 overall pick after a 15-67 campaign last year.

Here’s a look at the latest NBA Draft odds at the online sportsbook to help figure out what the Wizards might do with the No. 2 pick.

Prediction for No. 2 Pick: Alex Sarr (-115)

  • Pick originally made at +190 odds on June 12

The top of the board has changed since I initially bet on Alex Sarr being the No. 2 pick at +190.

Sarr is now the betting favorite at -115 to go No. 2 overall to the Washington Wizards. Zaccharie Risacher originally opened as the betting favorite in this market at -105, but is now +110.

This movement comes after some shake-up in the latest NBA Draft No. 1 pick odds.

The Atlanta Hawks have been unable to bring in Sarr for a workout, increasing the likelihood that Risacher or UConn’s Donovan Clingan is their top choice.

If that happens, Sarr is the obvious choice for the Wizards.

Sarr, a 7-foot center from France, would help Washington in multiple ways.

His 7-foot-4 wingspan helps him protect the rim, something the Wizards crave after ranking 28th in defensive rating last year.

Sarr is an athletic finisher on offense, but can also pass and attack defenders off the dribble.

Sarr’s upside stands out in a weak draft class, especially considering how big men have dominated the league in recent seasons.

The Wizards are hoping he falls to them at No. 2 overall.
